He brings a whole different level of intensity to the game. And he expects that from his catcher. He's a power pitcher and he's as good as he is for a reason, because of that intensity.

I'll come in every day and prepare for that one day, two days a week, that I'm able to start. It's been good. I caught him in Arizona for two years. We're pretty comfortable with each other as far as I know.

It was a pretty hard-hit ball. He had nowhere to go, he tried to backhand it.

To me he seems satisfied with how it has gone this spring. Randy is not the kind of person who walks around singing because this is a serious business for him. But he looks comfortable.
